Malaysia will host two of Africa's most notorious leaders during this month's international economic forum in Putrajaya.

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, who has retained power in his country despite recent opposition, and Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, will be in Malaysia for the gathering.

Bashir faces charges of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity in Sudan's western region of Darfur.

The ICC arrest warrants have hampered Bashir's movements outside Sudan but Malaysia is not a party to the ICC.
