Last month, miss A released a special edition version of their first album in Taiwan, and it’s been climbing local charts! Immediately after its release, the album ranked first on several charts, proving its explosive popularity.
“Good Bye Baby” ranked first on Taiwan’s biggest music portal, ‘Ezpeer‘, alongside ‘A Class‘ topping their weekly Korea/Japan chart. On ‘G-MUSIC‘, the girls have ranked in third. The album is special in that it contains Chinese versions of “Good Bye Baby” and “Love Again” along with a music video DVD.
AQ Entertainment revealed, “The group is off to a positive start with their Chinese advancement. We’re looking forward to more great results. Please look forward to more promotions coming from the girls.”

Ahead of their October 26th release, MBLAQ has revealed the PV for their second Japanese single, “Baby U“!

Former Jewelry member-turned-actress Park Jung Ah will be making her small-screen comeback with a new daily drama!
On October 9th, representatives of KBS revealed that her casting has been confirmed for KBS 1TV‘s ‘Only You‘. This will mark her first comeback in six months since wrapping up ‘Smile, Donghae‘ earlier this May.
She’ll be playing the role of ‘Cha Do Hee’, an architect who’s the epitome of a cold, city woman. Producers felt that her modern, chic image would fit well with the role. Her leading male partner will be Seo Jun Young of SBS‘s ‘Deep-Rooted Tree‘.

SBS‘s “Inkigayo” is back once again, and this week’s show was full of amazing and fun performances from the top participating K-pop artists!
Viewers got to see the Boyfriend make their comeback, while Supreme Team‘s Simon D made his debut.
The ‘Take 7‘ nominees for this week’s show were Super Junior, Davichi, INFINITE, KARA, Sung Shi Kyung, Brown Eyed Girls, and B1A4.

On October 7th, SNSD‘s Sooyoung, YoonA, and Taeyeon took a break from their busy schedules to support Sooyoung’s older sister, Choi Soo Jin, in her musical, ‘Winter Sonata‘.
Sooyoung stated, “The character my sister plays in the musical is a character that is much-loved by enthusiasts of ‘Winter Sonata’, so I think she feels a bit of pressure from that. I’m glad that she was able to pull it off as much as she worked hard for it. I was really grateful and proud to see the audience give her a warm response. I hope that she’ll do even better for the next six months.”
YoonA also stated, “I wanted to see her first show but I couldn’t because of a schedule. Because it’s the work of an amazing director, I hope that it will do well. It was cool to see how they had condensed the long storyline of the drama; I was able to see a different charm in comparison. I had a great time.”

With their highly-anticipated comeback inching ever closer, the Wonder Girls will finally be returning to Korea within the week!
A representative of JYP Entertainment stated, “The Wonder Girls are currently spending busy days filming for their TV movie, ‘The Wonder Girls at the Apollo‘. If there aren’t any additional schedules to be added, they will be returning to Korea within the weekend and begin preparations for their comeback.”
The Wonder Girls are up against several girl groups like SNSD, Orange Caramel, and T-ara. As such, an eye-catching concept is a must in order to stay in the spotlight. The Wonder Girls are known for their retro concepts now, so many are wondering what they’ll be bringing out next.
The representative revealed, “The album will be produced in a movie OST format. We’ll be planning our concept to fit around the feel of the song, so as opposed to retro, we feel that it will be more pop. The Wonder Girls will definitely be coming out with a new image, so please look forward to it.”

After Leeteuk and Kang Sora‘s casting was confirmed as the new couple for MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘, many fans and viewer cocked their heads at the unlikely pairing.
Leeteuk will be starting his married life with the actress on October 8th, but prior to the episode’s broadcast, PD Kim Jun Hyun took the time to explain his casting decision.
He began, “They’re a match made out of a mismatch.” Because their expertise lies in different industries, the PD hoped to bring them together to put something new on the table.
On Kang Sora, the PD stated, “Meeting her in person, she’s an honest person and knows how to show who she truly is. She has a character that I’m sure will charm anyone, male or female.” Kang Sora also doesn’t know that much about idol groups, such as which member is in which group, and her knowledge about the music industry is fairly limited.
She first earned headlines back in June for guesting on SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, telling fun stories about her life experience as a writer for martial arts and dropping 20 kg in weight.
On the other side of the coin, Leeteuk is a wellknown figure to the public, and there isn’t a variety show that he hasn’t been on. The public perceives him to be an active and outgoing type of guy, but the PD was able to see that there was more to him offscreen.
“When we asked questions about his personality or ex-girlfriends, he suddenly turned very shy. We saw a side of him that you can’t see on variety programs, and all of it just felt very new to us,” he said.
Commenting on the couple, the PD stated, “Seeing them through pictures, I thought they fit together particularly well, in terms of visuals. You’ll be able to see a shy Leeteuk and a lovely new side of Kang Sora.”
He also revealed that since they don’t know anything about each other, they’re having a lot of fun trying to learn more on set.

It’s just been revealed that KARA will be guesting in the 100th episode special of KBS‘s ‘Dream Team 2‘!
On October 7th, representatives of KBS revealed that KARA filmed for the show on the first day of their Korean comeback.
Producers shared that the girls chose five out of the 15 male members to play various couple games together. The five lucky members were chosen through a grueling six-level obstacle course, with the winners of the first and second round given the ‘prize’ to team up with KARA.
This milestone episode will air on October 9th, so stay tuned for updates!

On October 6th, Jay Park tweeted, “I’ll be releasing a seven-track mini-album next month, only have one more song to record~ Please look forward to it~ Album is FIRE~ Looks like it’s going to be summer all year long.”

She’s been receiving love calls for a while from all over the world, thanks to her status as Korea’s ‘rising sexy icon’; consequently, she’ll be spending the rest of the year traveling to locations around Europe and Asia for photoshoots and CF advertisements.
Confirmed schedules include filming in Los Angeles, Europe, and Japan.
G.NA stated, “There were some things I’m disappointed in because I tried to show so much in such a short amount of time, but I think it this cycle was an opportunity for me to look at the bigger picture of my career. It was stimulating for me to see what I had before me.”
