A bevy of top producers have set out to support the debut of a new girl group named ‘C-REAL‘.
According to N.A.P. Entertainment, the girls’ debut album consists of work from Choi Kap Won at the lead, Brave Brothers, Kim Do Hoon, Wheesung, PJ, and Shinsadong Tiger.
K-Pop fans are already familiar with the hits of Brave Brothers, Shinsadong Tiger, and Wheesung. Kim Do Hoon is the composer behind G.NA while PJ has produced for groups like AKB48 in Japan.
The reason these PDs are banding together to support the girl group is because they believe in the talents the girls have to offer. Toted as the ‘five-member IU‘, the girls recently released their CF for their title track, “No No No No No“. The producer behind the track hasn’t been revealed yet, adding to the anticipation of its release.
Their debut album, “Round 1“, will be released on October 12th.

SBS is currently running ‘Star Sharing Auction‘ in which the main characters from SBS drama’s, “Protect the Boss”, “Scent of a Woman”, “Miss Ahjumma”, and “Warrior Baek Dong Soo”, have donated personal items to be put up for auction.
Out of all the items in the auction, Jaejoong’s necklace and bracelet

to more than $1000 USD, as of August 8th. The auction for Jaejoong’s
accessories will end on September 30th.

On an SBS morning news program, a segment called ‘Star Secret’ delved into the student days of Korea’s popular MC Yoo Jae Suk.

Super Junior are professionals at melting entire
K-Pop communities to bubbling puddles of goo. They hold more power in
the palm of their hands than most boy bands combined, and so it comes as
no surprise that news of their comeback completely dominated the
international K-Pop community. Needless to say, the concept (as wacky as
it may be) served its purpose – to grab all eyes and ears towards
Super Junior like moths to a neon-colored flame.

T-ara recently came back with ‘Roly-Poly in Copacabana‘ a new version of their hit disco tune.
Throughout their original ‘Roly-Poly‘ promotions and music video, they’ve been seen in various retro outfits, including school uniforms and gym clothes. But this time, the girls took their retro style in a different direction and opted for bright yellow newsprint outfits.
Honestly, I’m not a fan of their past retro looks because I felt like they were too chaotic and unflattering. However, I’m enjoying their recent newsprint outfits, although I think the bits of blue patent make the outfits look cheap and the clunky yellow shoes look like little girls’ dress-up playtime shoes, I have to admit though that the newsprint pattern is what wins me over. It’s something interesting that you don’t see as often and the color choice is bright and refreshing. Overall the outfits work well together and the girls are able to add their own retro flair to them. Also, although the two outfits are quite different, I couldn’t help but think of the infamous caution tape outfit of Lady Gaga when looking at T-ara’s outfits!

The Review Committee had said that some parts of HyunA’s choreography were considered obscene which drove the associates of HyunA to abruptly conclude the promotions to Bubble Pop.
This is a typical problem that many girl groups and solo female singers with a sexy concept are bound to face in their careers. However, music officials are frustrated because the standards for this problem aren’t so clear cut and are most probably going to surface again in future.
What’s wrong with HyunA’s choreography?
According to the Committee, they revealed, “The part where HyunA shakes her hips and the part where she is dancing with a male back dancer is obscene“.

One associate who saw the letter testified, “In the statement it said that the part where HyunA sweeps her hand from her ankle to her thighs and the part where she shakes her hips vigorously is seen as obscene“.
However, some music officials are saying that it might seem a bit unfair from HyunA’s perspective. One official said, “There is no clear criteria or guideline in determining if something is obscene or not. If HyunA’s hip dance is a problem, then why is KARA’s butt dance okay?” The official also added, “It’s a bit disappointing but there’s not much that we can do“, letting out a big sigh.
Other female artists are also in danger
Other female artists who are awaiting their comeback are also in panic mode because of HyunA’s incident. Having their concept, choreography, and outfit already set and waiting for their comeback date, the artists are afraid that this incident could have a negative impact on them as well.
One associate said, “They should be worried. Even the program writers and PD’s repeatedly warn them to watch out for their outfits“. Because the situation is like this, the artists can’t truly express themselves fully. The associate also added, “We can’t style their outfits the way we want to. And the choreography that can be considered vulgar has to be changed or taken out… Ultimately, they can’t show the audience their best performance that matches the song“.

Currently in the military as a active-duty soldier, Kangin committed to supporting the flood recovery from July 28th to August 2nd.
According to a military official, the Hyungchon Village in Seoul was the area where Kangin and his group were assigned to. This area had been damaged the most from the recent storm and was put under intensive flood recovery operation; nearly 300-400 soldiers were assigned to support the citizens in this particular area.
During this operation, soldiers had to go down to the basement and dig up the mud themselves without the use of equipment; the soldiers worked hard all throughout the weekend to help out in the recovery.
Meanwhile, Kangin, who had voluntarily enrolled into the army after admitting guilt to his DUI and assault charges, didn’t hesitate in going into the dirty mud water and even took the initiative according to his fellow soldiers.
A military official stated, “In Kangin’s case, there was the possibility of some trouble because he is older than most of the soldiers who are also higher than him in ranking. But he’s getting along with the others very well and acts as the youngest soldier of the group”. He also added that he wishes that Kangin will safely finish whats left of his military service and succeed in making his comeback as a singer.
