IU has announced that she will be departing from KBS’s “Immortal Song 2” for good.
On June 6th, representatives confirmed through Star News, “The episode broadcast on the 4th will be her last, as she will be leaving the show.”
IU felt overwhelmed by her laden schedule, which included her MC duties for “Inkigayo” as well as other commitments to other shows like “Kim Yuna’s Kiss & Cry“. But her network appearances aren’t the only things on her schedule, as representatives continued to revealed, “IU will unfortunately be leaving the program in order to focus on her upcoming album, which is scheduled for release later this year.”
Taking her place will be SECRET’s main vocalist, Song Ji Eun. 2PM’s Junsu and F.T. Island’s Hongki are also preparing to join the program as well.
